The Municipal Hotel & Spa
Hotel Reservations
A block of rooms has been reserved for guests at The Municipal Hotel & Spa in downtown Liverpool. This is our primary hotel for wedding guests, but we have included an additional option below which is located just across the street.

*The Municipal Hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel but it has limited king sized bed rooms. The standard room has queen sized beds.

While we don't have a block of rooms reserved, guests are welcome to book rooms via the hotel website.

Travel
Plan ahead!
1. Be sure to check your passport expiration date.
2. Starting in January 2025, the UK will require all travelers to obtain an Electronic Travelers Authorization (ETA) for a £10 fee to enter the country. Applications are open now and we recommend applying sooner rather than later.

It's easy to apply and should get approved within 3 working days. Approval is valid for two years with no limit to the number of visits to the UK. Once approved, you will receive an email confirmation and it will be linked to your passport.
Planes
Flying into London Heathrow Airport
London is a 2.5 hour train ride from Liverpool.
Take the Heathrow Express from the airport to London Paddington Station.
From there, transfer to Euston Station via the underground or Taxi for the train to Liverpool.

Manchester Airport is a 45-minute drive or 80-minute train ride to Liverpool.

Trains
London to Liverpool
London Euston Station to Liverpool Lime Street Station takes 2.5 hours.
Manchester to Liverpool
Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street Station takes 80 minutes.
Train schedules open up about 3 months in advance. We recommend booking train tickets prior to travel via the Trainline app or West Midlands Railway website.
Automobiles
Car rentals, Ubers, & Taxis
If you are planning to rent a car from London to Liverpool, it is roughly a 4-hour drive.
In Liverpool, Ubers/Taxis are easily available from the train station and all around town.
